About
An AI company that runs its own systems.
Lightspace is headquartered in Nairobi and works with teams worldwide. We build AI products, advise companies putting AI at the core of how they operate, and train the people who inherit those systems. The three feed each other — the products are where we learn what actually holds up in production.
Most AI work stalls in the same place: a convincing demo that never becomes a system anyone depends on. The gap isn't the model. It's everything around it — where the data comes from, who approves an action, what happens when the prediction is wrong, and whether the team left holding it can actually operate the thing.
We learned that by building four of our own. A marketing platform that spends real budget. A grid monitor watched by people who get called out at 3am. A dispatch system that moves patients to hospitals. A shopping agent that quotes landed cost before someone commits money. Each one forced the same questions we now ask on day one of a client engagement.
Training is the last phase, not a side business. An engagement that ends with your team unable to run what we built is an engagement that failed — so we teach the method openly, in live cohorts, to individuals and to the companies we work with.
We ship before we advise
Every recommendation we make has been tested on a system we run ourselves, with our own numbers on the line.
Honest about what AI can't do
Some problems are a spreadsheet, not a model. We say so — the “don't bother” list is part of the work.
Humans stay in the loop
Our systems act, but every consequential action carries a confidence score, an approval step and an audit trail.
What we've built
Four AI operating systems, live in production across four industries.
