1. Cooling-off & deposits
For bootcamps and specialist tracks, enrolment begins with a deposit. If you change your mind before your cohort starts, your deposit is refundable up to seven (7) days before the start date, less a small administrative fee. Within seven days of the start, the deposit is non-refundable because we have reserved your seat and turned others away.
2. Withdrawal after a cohort starts
- Within the first week: you may withdraw for a refund of fees paid beyond the deposit.
- After the first week: fees are non-refundable, as delivery and instructor costs are already committed. Where you pay by installments, any remaining installments are paused on withdrawal.
3. Deferral
Life happens. If you cannot continue, you may apply to deferto a later cohort of the same program rather than withdraw. Fees already paid are credited to your deferred place. Deferral is available once, subject to seat availability, and must be requested in writing.
4. Short courses
Short-course fees are refundable up to three (3) days before the start date. After that, you may transfer your seat to the next available cohort instead of a refund.
5. If we cancel
If we cancel or reschedule a cohort, you may choose a full refund of everything you have paid, or a transfer to the next cohort — your choice.
6. How refunds are made
Approved refunds are returned by the same method you paid, typically within fourteen (14) days. Every refund is recorded against your enrolment.
7. How to request
Email hello@lightspacehq.com with your name, program and cohort. We will confirm what applies under this policy and process it promptly.
