This track takes you deep into building production APIs with FastAPI and Django: designing endpoints, working with databases, testing, and shipping to the cloud. Project-driven and taught by practitioners.

Modern Python
Weeks 1–3Idiomatic Python, typing, project structure, and writing clean, testable code.

Weeks 4–6REST APIs with FastAPI and Django, ORMs, and connecting to PostgreSQL.

Test, secure, harden
Weeks 7–9pytest, authentication and security, transactions and migrations.

Ship it
Weeks 10–12Containerising with Docker, deploying to the cloud, and a capstone API you present and defend.

Live online — you can join from anywhere in the world. In-person lab days at our Nairobi base are optional, not required.

How much Python do I need?
You should be comfortable with basic programming; Python specifically isn't required. We build from modern Python fundamentals up to production APIs.
